Occupational Therapist, registered by

Wendy discovered Craniosacral Therapy in 1997 while working as a pediatric OT. She found that this work was beneficial for her in helping to eliminate a stiff and painful neck problem. Wendy decided to study CST and found that it was useful in improving the health of her family, friends and OT clients. She provided CST to clients at Well on the Way in Ossining, NY, and privately, in home settings, before moving to Saratoga Springs in 2009.
In 2011, Wendy opened The Body’s Rhythm-Craniosacral Therapy on Beekman Street in Saratoga Springs. In April of 2013, she relocated her practice to The Garden at 434 Church Street in Saratoga Springs.
Craniosacral Therapy was developed by cranial osteopaths who became very interested in the fluid body and how it affects the musculoskeletal and central nervous system. Craniosacral Therapy can be beneficial for many health concerns including headaches, neck and back pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, brain injuries, orthopedic issues, learning disabilities, sensory integration limitations, TMJ syndrome, depression, tinnitus, PTSD and any disorders related to the central nervous system.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is especially helpful for infants and children. Sessions can be useful for expectant mom’s to facilitate optimal birthing of their babies and self-healing. Newborns can benefit from sessions soon after birth to encourage health and well-being in their new lives outside the womb. Babies with feeding difficulties, colic, reflux, sleeping problems, torticolis and developmental concerns can be helped through this work.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy can be of significant benefit to many people. It is gentle enough to use with both newborns and the elderly but dynamic enough so that it can help issues such as migraines and birth trauma. Biodynamic CST can facilitate the body’s return to its earliest memories of being a new life in utero. It is in those early days of development that every system in the body is demonstrating amazing fluidity. A biodynamic session can provide deep relaxation and release of both physical and emotional limitations.Articles published in the Healing Springs Journal:
